Today, I want to share a personal story with you. One that shaped everything I believe about leadership, land, and community.
In 2014, I brought a dream to life.
After 14 years of iterations, lessons, and downloads, I was living in South India and launched what felt like the culmination of my vision—a living, breathing template for regenerative living and tribal harmony.
It was called The Beeja Project.
“Beeja” means seed in Sanskrit.
It was always meant to be a template of community living potential.
Over 20 acres of raw land, we built food forests, created rammed-earth cottages, harnessed hydroelectric power, and established a micro economy of exchange with local villagers.
It was beautiful.
It was sacred.
It worked.
Until it didn’t.
Despite having a 10-year lease and residency in India, I was asked to leave.
Why? Because I was told I had become “too influential.”
My leadership, teachings, and even my personal choices had disrupted a culture not ready to change.
Everything we built reverted to the landowners.
For five years, the land lay dormant.
Eventually, it was transformed into an adventure retreat center primarily hosting corporate off-sites.
And yet, the rammed-earth house we built—made with love, clay, and intention—remains the most beloved cottage to this day. A quiet echo of what we created.
It was one of the hardest initiations of my life.
But it taught me everything about right relation—with land, with people, with love… and with power.
Because when power is misaligned, when love is hidden, or when truth is too disruptive—it triggers resistance. And still, the seed endures.
This Is Why I’m Sharing This Now
We are in a time where the world is rapidly changing again.
What’s breaking down is not random—it’s revealing what’s no longer aligned.
And what’s emerging?
Is something we’ve been longing for:
Community that feels real
Leadership that is rooted in soul
Spaces where power is shared and truth is honored
I feel that I’ve lived many lifetimes since The Beeja Project ended.
And I keep learning, evolving, clearing karma, and rising.
But the seed still whispers.
The seed still carries the code.
The vision hasn’t ended—it’s unfolding.
This Isn’t Just My Story—It’s Ours
You may not have built an eco-village.
But I bet you’ve poured your heart into something that didn’t last.
I bet you’ve loved and lost.
Started again.
And kept moving forward.
If there’s one thing I know for sure:
The seed knows.
Even as we cycle through life, death, and rebirth—it remembers what we’re here to become.
Over the next few emails, I’ll be sharing some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned about community, conscious leadership, and what it really takes to build something that lasts.
These are not just ideas—they are key codes I’ve lived through.
I hope they awaken something in you.
Because this isn’t just a story of loss.
It’s a story of what comes next.
Let’s begin again.
In resonance,
